Before the Internet could handle images, it took weeks for me to exchange darkroom prints and comments with photographer friends abroad, even when using expensive airmail. Now it all happens quickly and seamlessly, at low cost, right here in the palm of my hand. It's bloody fantastic!
It IS bloody fantastic, although it's driving the post office out of business! Oh well, the world changes, doesn't it?!

Yes, Curt told me about the many years you two communicated by snail mail. I often stop to think about the "age of technology." As a young girl growing up, I could never have imagined this thing we call the 'information age' and yet, I embrace the technology gladly.
