The postman commented this morning that I would certainly have no trouble at all finding these shoes on first waking.
Why is it that here in England there is only a binary choice of shoe colour for men (black or brown, sir) whilst women can have any hue they desire?
So these days I buy my shoes in Spain, Italy and France. After all, it’s the peacock who sports the coloured plumage.
They would clash with the our new male national costume - tracksuit bottoms

And, from my observations in Leicester traffic queues yesterday, such sports trousers are also very popular with Asian taxi drivers. Clearly such a sedentary occupation demands an athletic, yet trendy wardrobe.

let's not forget the stunning blue kickers you picked up on your second trip to the american colony, p, those moonboots a shade shy of summer sky.

Your description sounds much better than the "Baby Blue" on the tin of matching shoe cream, thanks C.

If I'd have known I could have ordered you some pink kangaroo-lined knee-high suede boots I saw on the weekend. David thought they were "my thing". Hmmm - he hasn't yet noticed that all my shoes are in fact black or brown, sir. Well B, you've solved that little mystery for me - "who would buy yellow shoes??". Maybe you also buy peaked caps from service stations that say things like "the liver is evil and must be punished". I also wonder who buys those things as well.

Ooh, just the thing for brightening up my winters in the Old Rectory Cottage!
I did get a baseball cap hand embroidered with my monogram in Florence once.
Wait until you see my orange shoes.

These are nearly as good as your orange ones.
I ordered some boots the other day from a local cobbler - knee-high red suede with pink leather trim - subtle!

Oh - I see Christina's already mentioned the maker of the knee-high boots. She wussed out, silly girl.

Ooh, sexy. Now I'm thinking of retraining as a cobbler.
