Delilah

Delilah is one of three ducks who have been visiting The Tree House recently, asking for food and water.
Photographing wild animals needs lots of patience. They won't stand still or look where you want them to. They don't care what's in the background or if your camera won't focus quickly enough. Delilah here would just as soon taste my phone as look straight at its lens.
This shot is the only one of several without my feet in it. It is the single image from very many which is not blurred. Timing is everything. Not giving up until you get the picture also helps.
