SMO is my shorthand for Social Media Overload. SMO is also the beginning of the word smother. Lately I've been feeling suffocated by too much choice, too many gateways, too great a number of portals in the Interweb to get through.
Taking a phone camera snapshot is the easy part. Deciding where to post it, why, for which group of viewers, is fast becoming a chore. I can use Flickr, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest, Blogger, Typepad, Posterous, Dropbox, Jalbum, Instagram ... even my own web site. The list becomes as lengthy and boring as each individual process. The many and varied formats, logins and apps consume my time, energy and patience.
It's high time to put the FUN back into sharing. I need to Find a Unique Node.
